VI 5G Activation Scam Alert ⚠️
If someone calls you claiming to be from Vodafone Idea (Vi) and offers free 5G activation, unlimited 5G, or a 40-day free offer, please be careful. It may be a scam.
They may ask you to share two OTPs—first one OTP and then a second OTP. Never share OTPs with anyone over the phone.
If you have already shared the OTPs and your Vi Prepaid number has been converted to Postpaid, you can request deactivation by sending:
Reject P2P → 199
Stay alert and never share your OTP, even if the caller claims to be from Vi.
