The HR department is not required.
Please don't mind, but this is true: HR department is not required in most places, especially in White colour IT field.
Real example: BOLT, a US Fintech company owner (Mr Ryan Breslow) has removed the HR department. He twitted.
Reason is very simple: HR creates the problem which are not really exist. Means artificial problem. This is a meaningful opinion and has so much depth in this thought, if you think deeply. After removing the HR, he said he found so much productivity in his team/company.
After removing HR, he found that it stopped so many internal unnecessary processes so employee can give much output on their job.
